Spring is on it's way, and winter will soon be out the door, although that will not rule out a late season snow event or two, that's for sure.

With spring on the way, so are the songbirds! They'll be starting their annual spring migrations toward their nesting and breeding grounds, and it's such a joy to sit with a cup of coffee or tea on the porch or by the window and watch them sing, chatter, play, court one another, feed at the feeder, and rear their young.

Then it's time to watch Mom and Dad (who automatically have the title of Flight Instructor) give the young birds their flight lessons, and be amazed once more at the yearly ritual of watching a little feathered being spread it's wings for the first time ~ even register amazement on it's own little face that "flight" is actually happening!!

The sweetness and joy that our feathered friends bring us has brightened many a dark hour and lifted many a dark mood! Direct Artwork is proud to be able to offer you several absolutely gorgeous art prints of our feathered friends by some of the world's most talented artists.

Take, for example, Kim Norlien's "Country Music" ~ an absolutely charming print depicting a male and female cardinal in the countryside where spring is in full bloom, probably delighting the occupants of the farmhouse in the distance with their delightful warbling song!

This lovely print can be found on our website here.

In fact, we have an entire fine art prints collection devoted to ~ what else! Birds! You can find this print and many more beautiful prints depicting our feathered friends ~ learn more......

And, remember, Happy Spring! (even though winter may still stick around for a while)
